OBIT FARRIS, DUNCAN B.

FARRIS, Duncan B., 60, of Salem, died Monday, February 8, 1993, in Lewis-Gale Hospital. He was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. Farris; four daughters, Carol L. Riddlebarger, Eagle Rock, Sandra Lafon, Salem, Linda Brown, Roanoke, Bettie Farris, Roanoke; three brothers, W. H. Farris, Newport News, James R. Farris, Leon W. Farris, both of Elliston; two sisters, Betty F. Milliron Carper, Salem, Frances McMackel, Salem; five grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday and Wednesday night from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Salem Volunteer Rescue Squad. John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
