OBIT WEBB, RICHARD MAX
WEBB, Richard Max, 43, of Route 6, Rocky Mount, died Tuesday morning,
February 9, 1993, after a brave fight against cancer. Richard never knew a
stranger and he loved being outdoors hunting and fishing with his friends and
family. He was born October 1, 1949, the son of the late Max Lee Webb and
Tresa McKinney Inge of Roanoke. He was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist
Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Deborah D. Webb; two
daughters, Mary Lawson Webb and Jordan Downing Webb, all of the home; one son,
Richard Max Sink of Charlotte, N. C.; one sister, Rebecca W. Richards of
Vinton; and a nephew, John Lawson King of Warren Air Force Base, Ga. Funeral
services will be conducted 11 Thursday morning from Flint Hill United
Methodist Church by the Revs. Richard McDowell and Clifford Schell with
interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation may begin after 3 p.m.
Wednesday at Lynch Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7
to 8:30 p.m.
