GETTING TIRED OF THIS PLANET? CREATE YOUR OWN

Want to imagine what the planet was like 550 billion years ago?

Now thanks to SimEarth, a new game for Nintendo's Super NES system, players can create a planet and chart its progress.

Players begin the game by forming the planet, creating oceans and evolving single-celled life. Along the way, players (also known as Planetary Managers) can manipulate the planet's growth through volcanoes, fire, earthquakes and other natural disasters.

Players continue through the Bronze, Iron, Industrial and Atomic ages on their journey to civilization.

Released this month, SimEarth already has been heralded by the Parent's Choice Foundation as an outstanding game.
