OBIT LOVERN, MARGARET K.
LOVERN, Margaret K., 67, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, February 8, 1993.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mosie P. Lovern and a son, Mark
Ellis Lovern. She was an active member and Sunday School Teacher at the
Crystal Spring Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law,
M. Wayne and Sue Lovern, Roanoke, Michael Patrick and Joan Lovern, Maurice Lee
and Trudy Lovern, all of Danville; daughter and son-in-law, Marianna L. and
Richard Wilmoth, Danville; eight grandsons, Mark Lovern and wife, Helen,
Christian Lovern, all of Roanoke, Michael Patrick Lovern, II, Chris Lovern,
Kent Lovern, Eric Lovern, Jason Wilmoth, Byron Wilmoth, all of Danville;
granddaughter, Stephanie Lovern Payne, Danville; great-grandson, Aaron Patrick
Payne, Danville; brother and wife, Hubert Ralph King, Jr. and Sara, Albany,
Ga.; sister and husband, Dorothy K. Wilburn and Woodson, Salem; many other
true and faithful friends. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel
3 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Harry E. Leland officiating. Interment will be
in Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that
memorials be made to the Van Fund at Crystal Spring Baptist Church. The family
will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's
Roanoke Chapel.
