OBIT MILLIRON, KATIE A

MILLIRON, Katie A. 78, of Rt. 1 Wirtz, formerly of the Callaway Community died Wednesday morning February 10, 1993 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce M. and James J. Ferguson. She was a member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse W. Milliron. Additional survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse W. (Bill) and Peggy F. Milliron, Union Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Janet M. and Henry Shockley, Rocky Mount; six grandchildren, Mark Shockley and Kathy Shockley, both of Rocky Mount, Michael W. Shockley, Raleigh, N.C., James J. Ferguson Jr. and Alisa Ferguson, Jeffrey Ferguson, all of Arlington, three great-grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Laura Ann Shockley, all of Rocky Mount; other survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Clarence Milliron; a brother and sister-in-law, Wilson W. and Beatrice Angell, all of Callaway; a brother, James Angell, Seaford. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday from Lynch Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Richard Slider, with interment to follow in the Callaway Community Cemetery. Visitation may begin after 3 p.m. Thursday at Lynch Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 till 8:30 p.m. The family request that memorials be considered for the Piedmont Presbyterian Church, Rt. 1 Callaway, Va. 24067.
