THE IMPORTANCE OF A CHILD'S LIFE
THERE were a lot of issues in the fast-paced election year, but in my opinion, the biggest and most important was abortion. I am only a teen-ager and do not have the privilege of voting yet. But if I could, I would have re-elected George Bush because he was the only one in the presidential race who was pro-life. I would overlook the economic and political views, because to me a child's life is more important than all the other frivolous things they argued about. It makes me very angry that some women use abortion as birth control. In my opinion, that is very sick! I heard on the news that a woman went to have an abortion, and she had poison shot into her womb. The woman said she felt the baby moving around and striving for life. The baby was suffering, which is a sad thing to think about. That, unfortunately, is what our world is coming to.
