COACH WHITE IS A FINE COACH

I HAVE read with interest and much disgust all the items in the Roanoke Times & World-News concerning the Salem and Richlands football game.

As for Coach Vaught and all of his unbelievable comments about Salem and their coach, Willis White:

White is a fine, honest coach, who has never lied to his team; and he does have a great team. Every young man on his team has great respect and admiration for him, as do the citizens of Salem and Roanoke County. RUBY G. CUSTER CATAWBA
