NEW DIRECTOR FOR PULASKI'S UNITED WAY

Susan Roop Gibas, who had been executive director of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program in Christiansburg, is the new Pulaski County United Way executive director.

She succeeds Kymn Davidson Hamley, who became the county's first United Way director in the fall of 1991 and moved last year to become director of the Montgomery County and Radford United Way.

Gibas is a graduate of Pulaski County High School and Radford University.

She also has a master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University of Richmond.
