ANDERSON-OYLER

Alice Lorraine Oyler and Steven Richard Anderson were married February 6, 1993, in Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Emory N. Tarpley, Sr. officiating. The reception was held at the church. The maid of honor was Melissa Davis, and the bridesmaid was Trina Gill, both friends of the bride. The best man was Greg Holdren, a friend. The ushers were Russell Bryant, stepbrother, and Steve Hill, a friend. The candlelighter was James Oyler. The bride was given in marriage by Michael S. Crawford. The bride designed and made her own gown and veil. She carried silk flowers, off white, pink, purple roses with ivy. The bride is the daughter of Betty Martin Oyler of Roanoke. She graduated from William Fleming High School and is employed by Bowles, Nelson, Powers, Inc. The bridegroom is the son of Orren R. Anderson of Rocky Mount and Betty T. Anderson of Roanoke.
