MITCHELL-HOBBS

Sharon Stanley Hobbs and R. Edward Mitchell were married Friday, February 12, 1993, at 7:00 p.m. The Rev. Carol Johnston performed the ceremony at Grandin Court Baptist Church. The bride was attended by her daughter, Sarah Whitney Hobbs. Sharon is the daughter of Jack D. and Juanita R. Stanley of Roanoke. She is employed as a Supply Clerk Analyst at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem. Ed is the son of Mrs. David (Nancy) Coulter of Roanoke. He attended the University of Virginia, University of Maryland and obtained a Masters Degree from Lindenwood College in Missouri. He is president of Automation Services, Inc. in Roanoke. A reception in honor of the couple was given at the home of the bride's parents. Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Roanoke.
