CHARGERS CUT DOWN CRAIG COUNTY 56-33

Craig Phillips had 14 points as Bath County knocked off Craig County 56-33 in a Pioneer District boys' basketball game Saturday.

The Chargers (9-10 overall, 5-5 district) gave up only eight field goals in the game. Robbie Huffman had 12 points to lead Craig County (8-10, 2-8), which hit 16 of 20 free throws.

Bath County went eight minutes without a basket from the third quarter until 4:09 was left in the game and the Rockets had cut it to 37-26. But a technical foul on the Craig County coach and the resulting two free throws put the Chargers back in command for good. \

WOOSTER, Ohio - Jerry Stackhouse scored 31 points as Oak Hill Academy romped over the Titans for a non-district win.

Jeff McInnis paced Oak Hill (27-0) with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Makhtar Ndiaye added 11 points and 14 rebounds and Tavares Johnson had 10 rebounds.

Brandon Sprang scored 16 points, including four three-pointers, and Todd Aglsworth added 13 to lead Triway (14-3). \

PULASKI COUNTY Katrina King scored 12 points and Wendi Good and Glossary Smith added 10 each as the Eagles flew past the Cougars for an overtime non- district win.
