FOOTBALL-BROOKVILLE AIDE GETS TOP JOB

Kevin Saunders, assistant coach at Brookville High School in Lynchburg, has been named head coach at William Campbell High School in Campbell County.

Formerly head coach at Norfolk Catholic High School, the Radford native and health/physical education teacher will start his new job at the beginning of the 1993-94 school year.

\ Tailback Terry Kirby and defensive end Chris Slade, cousins from Tabb, were selected the University of Virginia's outstanding football players for the 1992 season at Saturday's UVa football banquet in Charlottesville.
