OBIT MADDOX, ANNA CHRISTINE CARBERRY

MADDOX, Anna Christine Carberry, 74, of Roanoke, died Friday, February 12, 1993, in a local hospital. She was the widow of Henry Wedd Maddox Jr.; and is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Jane Carol Maddox of Roanoke, Martha Ann and Craig Wardlaw of Charlotte, N.C.; three grandchildren, Emily Christine Wardlaw, Craig Millard Wardlaw Jr., Jane Maddox Wardlaw, all of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, Margaret Semon of Malvern Penn., Mary Frances Carberry of Roanoke, Teresa Jepson of Greenville, N.C.; and a brother, John Paul Carberry, Bridgeport, Calif. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:15 a.m. Monday from Saint Andrews Catholic Church with Father Joseph Facura officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
