OBIT BRAY, KATE C.

BRAY, Kate C., 94, of 124 Fairlawn Dr., Rocky Mount, died Saturday morning, February 13, 1993, in a local nursing home. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia B. Elliott, Rocky Mount; one son and daughter-in-law, Radford and Rosalie Bray, South Boston; one grandson, Jim Elliott; one granddaughter, Dana Estes; two great-grandchildren, Jamie Elliott, Cindy E. Gillis; one great-great-grandchild, Benjamin Gillis; one sister, Alice Davis, Newport News; and two brothers, W. B. Covington of Halifax, Carlton Covington of Newport News. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday at Millstone Baptist Church Cemetery, South Boston, with the Rev. Anthony Reeves, the Rev. Bob Watts and Dr. Joe Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. Monday at Millstone Baptist Church and from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main Street.
