CLIMBING WALL HAS OPEN HOUSE

Rock climbing will be featured Feb. 24 during an open house at Rockwood, Roanoke's indoor rock-climbing wall.

The free program begins at 7 p.m. at the Roanoke City Department of Parks and Recreation gymnasium, 210 Reserve Ave. It will feature a slide presentation on wilderness travel and mountaineering by Jeremiah St. Ours, founder of Sequel Outdoor clothing.
