VMI BASEBALL OPENS WITH WIN

In Greensboro, N.C., VMI first baseman Billy Terry had a three-run homer in his only official at-bat and the Keydets beat North Carolina A&T 8-4 in their season opening baseball game Sunday.

Louie Napoleon was 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and Warren Williams went 3-for-4 and scored twice for the Keydets. John Payne was the winning pitcher. N.C. A&T is 0-3.
