OBIT THORN, HAROLD CHESTER

THORN, Harold Chester, 64, of Roanoke, died Sunday, February 14, 1993. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Carlson and Lisa Thorn, Manchester, Vermont; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Thorn and Tony Ayers of Roanoke; his mother, Sylvia Thorn of Little Rock, Ark.; a brother and sister, Clive Thorn and Dorothy Southern, both of Little Rock, Ark.; six grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan, Va. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
