OBIT RATCLIFF, CHARLES MILLER

RATCLIFF, Charles Miller, 64, of Eggleston, died Sunday morning, February 14, 1993, in a Roanoke hospital. Born in Pembroke, May 16, 1928, he was a son of the late William Thomas and Nancy Elizabeth Dowdy Ratcliff. He was a retired employee of the N&W Railway. Surviving are his wife, Dersie Radford Ratcliff; one brother, John Henry Ratcliff, Pembroke; and one sister, Gladys R. Anderson, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Monday evening.
