EX-WHEAT OFFICIAL COLLINS BROWN DIES

E. Collins Brown of Roanoke died Saturday at age 67. He was a retired vice president for Wheat First Securities, which he joined in 1967. Prior to that he was a vice president for Virginia Iron, Coal and Coke Co. and Cardinal Construction Co. in Roanoke.

He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina and served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
