VDOT ENGINEER GETS HILLSVILLE POST
Robert K. Beasley has been named assistant resident engineer for the Hillsville office of the Virginia Department of Transportation.A Carroll County native, Beasley was previously project engineer in Bedford County, where he supervised the completion of complex construction projects on Virginia 501 and 24. In his new position, he will help supervise highway work in Carroll and Floyd counties.
He is a graduate of Hillsville High School, Wytheville Community College and Virginia Tech. He lives in Christiansburg.
He also has been project engineer and public information officer for the department's 12-county Salem District, which includes the Hillsville office.
