The United States and Zimbabwe launched on Monday their first joint
training maneuvers, which were described as a follow up to their collaboration
last month in famine-plagued Somalia. U.S. Army spokesman Col. Dan Henk said
26 soldiers from the 3rd Special Forces Group from Fort Bragg, N.C., will
spend 45 days in Zimbabwe with a commando battalion to learn tracking.
