FESTIVAL SEEKS DESIGN ENTRIES

The Virginia Highlands Festival is accepting entries for its festival design contest.

The winning design will be used on souvenir items for the annual festival in Abingdon that features antiques, arts and crafts, Civil War re-enactments and international dance troupes.

Deadline is March 10. The winner will receive $300. Judging will be done by the festival's promotions committee. For complete information on contest rules, call 944-3130.
