OBIT ALDERMAN, OWEN O.

ALDERMAN, Owen O., 84, of Route 2, Woodlawn, passed away Sunday, February 14, 1993 at his home. He was born in Carroll County, Va., a son of the late Robert Lee Alderman and Lallie Beasley Alderman. He is survived by his wife, Clara Stockner Alderman; a son and daughter-in-law, Orby and Ruth Alderman, Hillsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Dick Conklin, Biloxi, Miss.; a brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Lina Alderman, Hillsville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, with the Elder Rush Goad officiating. Burial will be in the Goad Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home Tuesday evening.
