OBIT BOOTH, LEWIS R. SR.
BOOTH, Lewis R. Sr. 72, of Cleveland, Tenn., formerly of Hardy, died
Sunday, February 14, 1993 in a Chattanooga, Tenn. hospital. He was a member of
White Rock Baptist Church, Hardy, and served with the U.S. Navy in World War
II. He was preceded by his parents, Denver C. and Hester M. Booth; and a
brother, Carl Booth. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Lawson Booth; one
daughter, Dorothy Beavers, Cleveland, Tenn.; four sons, Lewis R. Booth Jr. and
David L. Booth, both of Roanoke; Richard A. Booth and William H. Booth, both
of Cleveland, Tenn.; one sister, Evelyn Sink, Hardy; two brothers, Harold
Booth and Ralph E. Booth, both of Roanoke; also two grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday from
the White Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Marvin Lloyd officiating.
Interment in the church cemetery. The family reguest that memorials be made to
the American Heart Association. Arrangements by Lotz Vinton. The body will
taken directly to White Rock Baptist Church for funeral service with no
visitation at the funeral home.
