NRA MEMBERS WILL STILL HAVE A VOTE
IF DEFENDING the Constitution of the United States is looked at as a special interest, I am proud to be part of it. If it's militant and narrow-minded to defend my rights, I plead guilty.Would it make sense to punish everyone in Virginia because someone who was driving drunk wrecks and kills someone? I think not. It also makes no sense to pass a law to punish all law-abiding citizens of Virginia because a criminal in New York murders someone. Why not make it harder for a person from out of the state to obtain a Virginia drivers license and then use that license to illegally buy guns in Virginia?
Some people may be willing to give up their rights without a fight. I, for one, am not. I am the National Rifle Association and I vote. GROVER C. McCLOUD ROANOKE
