2 VA. WOMEN CHARGED IN DISPATCHER'S SLAYING
Two Virginia women were arrested Tuesday at a Wheeling home and charged in the beating death of a taxi dispatcher, police said.
Carolyn Dean, 24, of York County, and Pam Sayre, 31, of Norfolk, were wanted in the Nov. 8 robbery and slaying of 65-year-old William Woodbridge in York County, Va.
Sayre and Dean appeared in Ohio County Circuit Court on Tuesday and agreed to be extradited, he said. The two were being held in the Ohio County jail and were expected to be returned to Virginia today, he said.
