OBIT JARRETT, THELMA JULIA

JARRETT, Thelma Julia, 71, of Roanoke, died Monday, February 15, 1993. She was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church and the E.M. Dean Friendship Sunday School Class. She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Jarrett, Sr. She is survived by one sister, Louise Jarrett, Roanoke; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. C.A. (Peggy) Jarrett, Roanoke, Mrs. Edward S. (Lucille) Jarrett, Leesburg, Fla.; a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside at Evergreen Burial Park, 1 p.m. Thursday, February 18, with the Rev. Bradford L. Phillips officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
