OBIT MCDANIEL, ALBERT A.

MCDANIEL, Albert A., 79, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 1003 in the Bedford County Nursing Home. He was born March 16, 1914 in Bedford County, a son of the late Sam McDaniel and Minnie Carter McDaniel. His wife was the late Emma Elizabeth McFall McDaniel. He was a retired employee of Belding-Corticelli and also a retired farmer. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. He is survived by a son, Sammy McDaniel, Bedford; a daughter, Barbara Cheek, Bedford; a brother, J.R. (Billy) McDaniel, Bedford; two sisters, Virginia Snead, Bedford, Catherine Nance, Richmond; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, February 18, 1993 at 11 a.m. from the Greenwood Cemetery by the Rev. Richard Lewis and Rev. John C. Mitchell. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
