OBIT CAMPBELL, FLOYD OWEN
CAMPBELL, Floyd Owen, 75, of Salem, Va. died on February 10, 1993. The son
of the late James Robert and Sarah Martha Wallace Campbell, he was born August
18, 1917 in Iron Gate, Va. and grew up in Clifton Forge, Va. After training at
C & O Hospital, he worked for the Va. State Health Department for 50 years. He
was a member of Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two
daughters, Karen Campbell and Christa Pollock; and two brothers, Arthur W.
Campbell of Salem and C. E. (Gene) Campbell of Roanoke; and numerous nieces
and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. today at Raleigh Court
Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
Va. Endangered Species Fund, Box 11104, Richmond, Va. 23230 (Att: FOC Mem.) or
Children's Defense Fund, 25 E St., NW, Wash., D.C. 20001 (Att: FOC Mem.)
