OBIT DUFF, EVELYN BELLE STRAUB

DUFF, Evelyn Belle Straub, 46, of Lexington, died Tuesday, February 16, 1993 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. She was born on December 20, 1946 the daughter of Anges Fix Straub and the late James Waldo Straub, Jr. She was the Assistant Public Relations Director at VMI. She was a member of Manly Memorial Baptist Church where she was active in the youth program. Surviving with her mother of Lexington, she is also survived by a daughter, Stephanie Dawn Duff of Lexington; two sons Walter Jonathan Duff and William Jason Duff, both of Lexington; one sister, Barbara Kober of Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel with Dr. Thomas G. Harvey and Chaplin Charles Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in Timber Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 Thursday evening at Lomax Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jonathan and Jason Duff Scholarship Fund, P.O. Drawer 940, Lexington, Va. 24450.
