OBIT STONEMAN, VINCENT GLENN

STONEMAN, Vincent Glenn, 56, of Alexandria, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 1993. He was formerly of Hillsville. He was preceded in death by his parents Willard Glenn and Maxie Young Stoneman. Mr. Stoneman graduated from the College of William and Mary and the University of California Los Angeles. He served as an Administrator with the United States Government Health and Welfare Department since 1964. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa Stoneman and Stephen L. Taylor of Hillsville; a sister, Carolyn Stoneman Largen of Mt. Airy, N.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard Glenn and Tammie Lucas Stoneman of Christiansburg; a niece, Madeline Largen of Roanoke; a nephew, Barry Largen of Floyd; and a nephew and niece, Justin and Allison Stoneman of Vinton. It is his wish that a private memorial service be held and that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carroll County Historical Society of Hillsville.
