THE OLD SWITCHEROO OF PRIORITIES

SUPPOSEDLY George Bush lost and Bill Clinton won because of the economy.

Yet the first thing Clinton did upon assuming office was to expand abortion "rights," which wasn't even an issue in the campaign.

Then, he attempts to get homosexuals into the military.

Third, he'll focus on the economy.

Those who elected Clinton for economic reasons should be furious. Apparently, what is of first importance to most of them occupies only third place on Clinton's list of priorities. KEN DUNN ROANOKE
