MARYE'S WASTED TIME AND MONEY

ON THE FRONT page, Section B of the Feb. 2 edition of the Roanoke Times & World-News, I noted the return of Sen. Madison Marye to the state legislature. I am glad that he is recovering from such a severe physical illness.

But at the same time, it saddens me that once this very nice gentleman leaves office, the only things he will be remembered for are the "bottle bill" and, as stated in the article, as "the General Assembly's best teller of homespun tales."
