Because of a copy editor's error, an incorrect photo of Virginia Tech basketball player Thomas Elliott was published in Thursday's sports section.

A column of religion briefs in last Saturday's newspaper incorrectly included information on a workshop by Total Life Counseling. The workshop on training for lay counselors is not open to the public.

Pam Hultquist's name was misspelled in a story Wednesday about the Roanoke School Board's public hearing on the 1993-94 school spending plan.
