OBIT-ADAMS, EVA LAUTERBACH
ADAMS, Eva Lauterbach, 97, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, February 17, 1993,
in the Roanoke United Methodist Home. She was the widow of Redmond T. Adams
Sr. Mrs. Adams was the oldest living member and a charter member of Colonial
Avenue Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, Redmond T. Adams Jr., one
daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy A. and Jack R. Garrison, all of Roanoke; four
granddaughters, Mrs. Karen A. McLaurin, Mrs. Betsy A. Williams, both of
Roanoke, Mrs. Sue A. Hansen of Washington, D.C., Miss Lee A. Adams of
Shawsville; three great-grandsons, Trey Stephenson, Jay and Scott McLaurin,
all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Friday at
Oakey's South Chapel by the Rev. Branan G. Thompson Jr. and the Rev. Laney P.
Mofield. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will
receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's South Chapel.
