OBIT-TRAIL, STELLA FRANCES BOWMAN

TRAIL, Stella Frances Bowman, age 79, of Buchanan, died Wednesday, February 17, 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel W. and Ella Burkholder Bowman; a son, Donald Edward Trail; and sister, Edith Spiggle. Mrs. Trail was a lifelong member of the Virginia Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Leonard Trail; three sons, Kenneth Eugene Trail, Raonoke, Lloyd Preston Trail, Princeton, W.Va., David Bowman Trail, Buchanan; three daughters, Patsy Jane Chadwick, Oakton, Judith Ellen Reed, Buchanan, Sandra Hope Baun, Salem; five sisters, Mary Ellen Gilliam, Buchanan, Edna Earl Booze, Falls Church, Annie Catherine Desper, Stuarts Draft, Susan Persinger, Driskany, Loretta Joyce Burch, Monroe; one brother, Lloyd Isaac Bowman, Crozet; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 20, 1993 at 11 a.m. in Virginia Presbyterian Church, Pico with Gerald Stemm officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Buchanan.
