OBIT-POTTS, ERVIN L.

POTTS, Ervin L., 67, of Smith Mountain Lake, died Wednesday, February 17, 1993. Mr. Potts was formerly of Fort Wayne, Ind. He was retired Vice President of Employee Relations from Singer Furniture Co. and a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. At the age of six he toured as a professional tap dancer and drummer from New York to Chicago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jean Foerster Potts; daughter, Debra P. Reed, Charlottesville; sons, David L. Potts, Salem and Jarrett F. Potts, Smith Mountain Lake; also four grandchildren. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February, 20, 1993 at the Salem Presbyterian Church with Dr. Leighton Culler officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the Salem Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 536, Salem, Va. 24153 or Alzheimer's Disease Roanoke/Salem Chapter ADRDA, P.O. Box 5014, Roanoke, Va. 24012.
