`BAREFOOT IN THE PARK' TO HIT THE E&H STAGE

Neil Simon's comedy "Barefoot in the Park" will be performed by Emory & Henry College drama students and faculty members tonight at 8 in the Wiley Hall auditorium.

Suzanne Davis, a sophomore from Richmond, and Michael Donathan, a junior from Chester, play newlyweds trying to adjust to each other and their neighbors. She is a free-spirited nonconformist and he is a young businessman.

Scott Wildman, a senior from Jonesboro, Tenn., plays a telephone repairman who finds himself drawn into their problems.

Richard Pfau, dean of the faculty, plays the young couple's wacky neighbor and Kathleen Chamberlain, on the English department staff, plays the bride's mother. For Pfau, who has acted in several campus productions and leaves this summer to become president of another college, it will be a farewell performance.
