Prints of Mark Woodie's etching "Springhouse" were given as tokens of appreciation to United Way of Roanoke Valley volunteers for their work in 1992. United Way has commissioned Roanoke-area artists to create its Volunteer Award since 1987. Other etchings by Woodie, a Botetourt County artist, are on view through March 6 at the Alleghany Highlands Arts & Crafts Center in Clifton Forge.
