GENERALS FALL 79-48

Troy Smith scored 21 points Saturday as Randolph-Macon beat Washington and Lee 79-48 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference basketball.

Randolph-Macon (16-8 overall, 12-6 ODAC) started the second half with a 21-5 run to make it 54-27 with 13:33 remaining, and the Yellow Jackets led 79-46 in the final minute.

Bryan Watkins had 14 points for the Generals (5-19, 3-15).

Kurt Axe had 19 points for Randolph Macon. \
