OBIT RIGNEY, HOWARD ALBERT

RIGNEY, Howard Albert, 81, of Salem, formerly of Bramwell, W.Va., died February 20, 1993. He was preceded in death by a very special and loving granddaughter, Deede Grace in 1985; also preceded by a daughter, Ann; nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Hill Rigney; daughter, Kay R. Grace; grandson, Michael S. Grace, all of Salem; sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Ethel) Mullens, Bramwell, W.Va., Mrs. Dorothy Bales, Bluewell, W.Va., Mrs. Peb (June) Jarrett, Snohomish, Wash.; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, February 22, at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem with Rev. Keith Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Salem Educational Foundation, 19 N. College Ave., Salem, 24153, in memory of Deede Grace. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
