OBIT NESTER, MARION CLARENCE ("GRUBBY")

NESTER, Marion Clarence ("Grubby"), 67, of Dublin, died Friday, February 19, 1993, in a Radford hospital. He was a retired employee of the City of Rockville, Md., and a resident of Maryland for many years. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Leah Jean S. Nester, Dublin; two sons, Larry Lee Nester Sr and Larry Lee Nester, both of Dublin; three sisters, Alma N. Davis of Dublin, Mary N. Ritter of Bell Springs, Margaret N. Yopp of Radford; one granddaughter, Tammy Jones, Hagerstown, Md.; and one grandson, James Hunter Nester, Ijamsville, Md. Four great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry G. Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
