REED, James Davis, 47, of Blacksburg, died Friday, February 19, 1993 as the result of an automobile accident. He is survived by a daughter, Veronica Dawn Reed, Blacksburg; a son, James W. Reed, Blacksburg; his parents, Eslie W. and Ethel L. Reed, Riner; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Beulah M. and Jeffery Hartlaub, Littlestown, Pa., Linda S. and Bernard Eline, Hanover, Pa., Brenda M. and Ronald Hoke, Seven Vally, Pa.; four brothers, Eslie J. and Peggy J. Reed, Stanleytown, Pa.; Bud Q. and Corrine A. Reed, Alum Ridge, Va., Donald L. and Darlene G. Reed, Littlestown, Pa., Eugene T. and Emilie M. Reed, Martinsville; former wife, Jo Anne P. Reed, Blacksburg. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 23, at 2 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Everette Shepherd will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
