FIRE DAMAGES SALEM BUSINESS
Fire broke out in a Salem antiques business Sunday night, spreading to two attached apartments in the wooden two-story building, Salem police said.Sgt. David Leah said they do not know the cause of the blaze at Guthrie's Antiques in the 700 block of College Avenue. There were no reported injuries.
"Actually, they are dealing with smoke and some type of fire in the walls," said Leah. Firefighters were still on the scene shortly before midnight.
Leah said the antiques business was attached to a residential structure containing two apartments, one beside the shop and one above the antiques business.
