OBIT HOLLAND, RUBY MCMILLIAN

HOLLAND, Ruby McMillian, 71, of Route 7, Rocky Mount, died Saturday, February 20, 1993, in the local hospital. Surviving are her husband, Buddie Frank Holland; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Harold and Valerie Holland of Rocky Mount, Dennis and Cyndee Holland of Wirtz, Kenneth F. Holland of Rocky Mount; two daughters and one son-in-law, Wanda H. Whitlow of Lexington, N.C., Jeanette and Otis Belcher of Penhook; five grandsons, Rodney Brown, Tim Whitlow, Brad Whitlow, Brian Holland, Cole Holland; one granddaughter, Christa Holland; and three sisters, Hazel M. Spencer, Marie M. Bowman, both of Collinsville, Avis M. Pierce of Sarasota, Fla.; Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Ralph J. Wimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main Street, Rocky Mount.
