OBIT PEARN, BULA STUMP

PEARN, Bula Stump, 80, of Roanoke, died Friday, February 19, 1993. Mrs. Pearn was predeceased by her parents, George R. and Oakey M. Stump, and her husband, Arthur Pearn. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired employee of Roanoke City Schools. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara P. and Charles E. Beckwith of Herndon, Va., Carol P. and Lynwood M. Dent Jr. of Fairfax, Va.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Garnet Stump Birkelund of Bellflower, Calif., Sibyl Gertrude Stump of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. John D. Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's South Chapel.
