OBIT ADAMS, MARGIE ROBERTS
ADAMS, Margie Roberts, 60, of Penhook, died Sunday, February 21, 1993. She is now home with her Lord. She was born March 25, 1932, in Fries, Va., the daughter of the late William and Lula Roberts, and was preceded in death by one son, Erick Adams. She is survived by her husband, George J. Adams; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Jerry Tuck of Hardy, Mae Dell and Robie Tuck of Union Hall, Va.; and three sons and daughters-in-law, Burgart and Bonnie Adams of Panama City, Fla., David Adams and Alex Adams, both of Penhook. Also surviving are five grandsons, Jamie Tuck, Jason Adams, Brentt Adams, Brandon Adams and Kevin Adams; five sisters, Hester Joyce of May-O-Dan, N.C., Gaye Scott of Oak Level, Ruby Mabe of Crossett, Ark., Bouts Sharp and Bertha Fielder of Galax; three brothers, Frank Roberts of Crossett, Ark., Bobby Roberts of Bassett, Edward Roberts of Galax; and cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 1993, at the Forest Hill Christian Church by the Rev. J. D. Hunt III. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation may begin after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lynch Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m.
