OBIT HODGES, EARL MAXIE
HODGES, Earl Maxie, 57, of 1125 Pell Avenue, Rocky Mount, died suddenly,
Sunday, February 21, 1993. Mr. Hodges was employed at Fieldcrest Cannon as
superintendent of the weave room for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Judy C.
Hodges, Rocky Mount; two daughters and one son-in-law, Rhonda Kaye Hodges,
Valeria Gwen and Gregory R. Hodges, all of Rocky Mount; one son and
daughter-in-law, Tony D. and Tammy T. Hodges, Rocky Mount; three
grandchildren, Bryan Stephens, Michelle Hodges, and Krista Hodges; one sister
and brother-in-law, Louise H. and Carlton Bowles, Rocky Mount; one brother and
sister-in-law, James D. and Virginia Hodges, Rocky Mount. Funeral services
will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev.
Charles H. Comer officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial
Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Flora
Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St.
