OBIT HUMPHREYS, ANNIE GLASS

HUMPHREYS, Annie Glass, 88, of Meadowview, died Monday, February 22, 1993 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Washington County and was a member of the Meadowview Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Humphreys Sr. She is survived by five sons, Delmar R. Humphreys, Lynchburg, Ernest E. Humphreys, Paul E. Humphreys, Leonard C. Humphreys, George H. Humphreys Jr., all of Abingdon; four daughters, Mrs. Robert G. (Lavina) Cullip, Abingdon, Mrs. C. W. (Phyllis) Price, Abingdon, Mrs. Wayne (Bert) Parsons, Meadowview, Mrs. Roger (Jean) Yuhasz, Meadowview; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Glass Humphreys will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Farris Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tommy Wilson, Rev. James Kite, and Rev. Garland Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Glade Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home or anytime at her home or any of the childrens homes. Farris Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
