Because of a reporter's error, an incorrect date was given for employees of Dominion Bankshares Corp. to switch to the benefits plan of First Union Corp., the company which next week expects to acquire Dominion. The correct date is April 1.

Because of a reporter's error, a fact was incorrect in Tuesday's story about poet Maya Angelou, who appeared Monday night at Virginia Tech. Angelou did not speak for five years because she felt responsible for the death of the man who raped her. He was beaten to death after Angelou identified him as her attacker.
